  Disappointing. They mislaid our starters, forgot my wine and served our mains with a vast amount of French fries. Enough to overwhelm the main event and put us off the puddings we had been looking forward to. Got some very insincere apologies. Pub grub for large appetites, yes, something a bit more refined, no. Though the main ingredient was good for each of us. no - I don't want sword fish and salsa buried (literally)under French fries and salad, and no one likes to be forgotten by the staff. As I said, disappointing though with good points. Not too expensive, cocktails and wine nice and good value. Just don't go there for romance or refinement as we did! Btw, mentioned this at the time. Teflon, by the sound of things,but you never know - they were run off their feet so maybe they were listening.

  Absolutely beautiful food both times we visited - the steak and pork belly were absolutely phenomenal. It is a small place but we've been lucky enough to be served both times without a reservation. Possibly the place to eat around Suffolk Coastal District
